Yes, I am liveblogging this illness

First off, did you know that when you drink 32 ounces you will then have to pee 32 ounces? I don't actually know if it's true, but it seems so.

3 cherry limeades in 3 days. Too much?

Plus a lemonade from Chick Fil A which my mom brought me. That burned my raw throat. So, bummer. And an entire gallon of orange juice.

Then a sweet tea from McDonalds today because I thought I could run to the store to pick up essentials (like a reload of tissues and cough drops). But the Dollar Store's air conditioning was broke. I got overheated and before I knew it I was coughing and gagging all the way to the golden arches. (Too much visual? Sorry.)

Tape 008

I've never in my life been sick so much in a single summer. I was sick for a week before my job started. And today makes 6 days with this crud.

So far I have managed to watch every Bravo reality show episode, TWICE. Catch up on Ace of Cakes, Diners Drive-Ins and Dives, and Cupcake Wars. Become obsessed with Pitt Boss. And watch House Hunters International until I wanted to physically harm every privileged couple featured on that show.

Not that cough syrup and allergy meds make me full of rage or anything.

I've taken to taking pictures of things from my bed. Like Jack stopping by for a morning stretch, and to patrol the area for errant tissues:

Or Molly, who lays at the end of my bed ignoring me while I shout for her to look at me. It's like a game.

I'll save you the collection of ceiling shots. Although, rest assured, they are RIVETING.

I hope you get better soon! Summer colds are the worst, I had one at the beginning of the summer and I almost completely lost my voice. Aleve cold and sinus is my drug of choice, if you haven't tried it...give it a shot!

You can never have too many limeades. Also, how does lemonade burn your throat but OJ not?

Love the new layout. :)

Thanks for the tip, Laura. I'll have to try it out tomorrow!

Cassie, weird isn't it? But the lemonade was VERY strong. And thanks! :)
