This was a great reference to chicken raising. It's actually the first I've read as most of the others I'd seen at the library were falling apart and 4000 years old. I loved the modern spin on poultry keeping that the author provided. AND, she basically proved that I do indeed need a pair of Hunter Boots to tend to the chickens in. YES!
